Our Client - EarthStream is working with one of Europe’s leading developers of Offshore & Onshore wind projects looking to hire a Vessels Expert. This company has various projects at different stages of development in the UK and are rapidly expanding their team.

Job Description - As a Vessels expert you will be responsible for advising the construction and supply chain team on offshore logistics and technologies during the planning, contracting and execution of the project. This includes amongst others to advise on offshore technologies such as heavy lift, Jack-up vessel, cable laying, surveying, diving, positioning systems, etc. Other duties include:
- Provide expertise of offshore wind project logistics to the construction and supply chain team. This includes amongst others to advise on offshore technologies such as heavy lift, Jack-up vessel, cable laying, surveying, diving, positioning systems, etc.
- Cooperate with the supply chain team to ensure development and implementation of efficient, safe and cost effective installation methodologies for foundations, wind turbines and the offshore electrical infrastructure.
- Cooperate with Construction management in developing robust construction plans.
- Provide expertise on port/vessel interfaces
- Have and maintain good network in the Marine Construction supply chain
- Clear adherence to project programme ensuring that work scopes run on time and within budget.
- Contribute to the identification and management of risks, issues and impacts to the projects.
- Ensure appropriate record keeping of progress.
- Ensure high levels of quality control.
- Ensure that the projects maintain high levels of health and safety standards

Candidate Requirements -
- Academic degree (Bachelor or Master): in engineering or maritime such as a naval architect or master mariner or equivalent
- Significant Marine Experience
- Extensive experience in offshore wind logistics and technologies
- Experience within a complex multi-disciplinary project environment
- Great communication skills especially in the area of diplomacy
- Cultural tolerance
- Contract management
- Financial experience
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
