Opportunity in Oil & Gas sector working with high tech equipment!!
Main Purpose of the Role
As a Mechanical Engineer your job role will be within a dynamic design team who provide manufacturing technical support to the production department. The equipment you will be working with would be hydraulic, mechanical and structural products for a market leading consultant & manufacturer.
The Person
You should be flexible and dynamic in your approach, and bring energy and drive to your work. Key requirements are;
• Degree Qualified/HNC Mechanical
• Solidworks
• Design for manufacture
• Able to carry out design calculations
Key Responsibilities
• Design and modification of new products
• Taking products from initial concept through to final build, test and delivery
• Modelling of complex parts and assemblies
• Production of detailed drawings and assembly drawings in Solidworks
• Analysis of equipment involving stress, mechanism, hydraulic, drive systems etc.
• Hand calculations and FEA
Salary and Benefits
£45-60k + benefits
Salary dependent on experience: DAYS, MONDAY TO FRIDAY
