Renewable and Low Carbon Specialists

My client provides a comprehensive and diverse set of professional services to a broad client base in the private and public sectors. Building on a strong heritage dating back more than 170 years, our portfolio has expanded and developed over the past two decades to reflect major global issues including international mining, climate change, renewable energy and environmental protection.

Two positions have arisen in the Renewable Energy Team, one based at our Stoke onTrentoffice and one at their office inNewcastle Upon Tyne, for experienced renewable and low carbon specialists. These are senior positions and the successful candidates will report directly to Directors of the Firm.

You will be responsible for developing business in this sector, and expanding the workload across all of our regional offices. You will also be expected to provide specialist technical support to others, manage projects and budgets and give commercial input to fee proposals.

You:

The successful candidates will have the following attributes:

Extensive experience in relevant fields;a proven track record in winning and delivering consultancy services in the Renewable Energy Sector;a detailed knowledge ofUKlegislation and financial mechanisms in the renewable/energy sector;knowledge of renewable and low carbon energy technologies including wind turbines, biomass, CHP, geothermal energy and solar PV that complements the exiting team;

strong management, project management and resourcing skills;excellent presentation and report writing skills;ability to work on their own initiative and also to work as part of a growing team.

It is essential that you are educated to degree level (or equivalent) with a first degree and/or masters qualification in a related discipline.
