Bid Manager

Our client has a large list of suppliers within the industrial, technical and logistical support services. Their engineering, procurement, refinery construction, fabrication, operations, maintenance and industrial cleaning as well as facility management, Offshore catering and accommodation services are offered to the oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation and other major industrial sectors in Saudi Arabia and Qatar.This is an ideal opportunity for a PROPOSALS Manager looking to move or relocate to a larger organisation with almost a decade of on-going orders.

Essential Experience Oil and Gas:

Aware of Plant, Equipment & resources within the Petrochemicals industry Mechanical and EngineeringWell established & knowledgeable of the KSA MEP ( Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing ) as well as the Engineering aspects involved within the Construction and Infrasture developments throughout the Middle East Job Description Plan, co-ordinate and administer the Estimating functions of the company.Review estimates to ensure completeness and compliance with scope of work against correct requirements (Material, Indirect/Direct Labour, Equipment and Temporary Facilities).Assist project management with preliminary budgets for new projects. Selection of projects and facilities to bid. Implement strategies and techniques to establish competitive tenders.Develop and implement department standards, procedures and methods to compile consistent and comprehensive estimates and proposals.Participate in presentations to corporate management and clients for the content of bid proposal.Provide technical assistance to estimators during bid preparation stage and during contract negotiations, change orders preparation and define scope of work for sub-contractors

Requirements:

Minimum 15 years’ experience in Oil and Gas Industry – with MINIMUM5 – 8 Years Mechanical and Engineering Degree BSc or equivalent civil/MECHANICAL ENGINEERINGApplicant Nationality: English or Scottish Fluent: English, (Ideally basic Arabic)
