Contracts Engineer Aberdeen £ Competitive This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading oil & gas operator in Aberdeen. As Contracts Engineer you will provide pro-active and comprehensive Contracts Engineering support to all Business departments for their North Sea developments. As Contracts Engineer your duties and responsibilities will include: Preparation of contract strategies and development plans for Drilling/Production/Facilities/SHE/Projects/Logistics requirements. Co-ordination and handling of tenders and enquires including prequalification requirements. Co-ordination and evaluation of tender submissions Preparation of contractual documentation Post-award contract administration Provision of day-to-day liaison and advice service on commercial and contractual matters to personnel within the relevant business lines to ensure the companies best interests are maintained. Research and resolution of all commercial/contractual issues Upholding company Commercial & Contracts policies and procedures within the organisation and in the wider market. Maintaining awareness of market intelligence releva nt to the vendors providing services to the company. Maintain & update contracts files and OWA Contracts Register Develop contract administration role to support Company FPSO operations You'll ideally be qualified to degree or HND level in a Commercial or related discipline with a high level of data analytical skills. You'll ideally have experience in establishing major contracts from conception to close-out within an operating environment. You will also have experience in conducting meetings with contractor and operator personnel up to senior management level as well as presenting and negotiating professional opinions in contract and other commercial areas, including all aspects of liabilities, indemnities and insurances and other contractual qualifications.
