My client is working closely with a major Oil & Gas Operator and has recently been awarded a long term contract to provide Project Services and Contracts and Procurement Professionals globally to a major International Oil Company. An exciting opportunity has arisen within their Houston operations for a Project Services Lead to support their client base in the region, including one of world's Oil and Gas Majors. In the role you would be directly responsible for provision of projects Services input to a Major Brownfield Contract and coordination of additional Project Services activities via the Project Services line as required. A key aspect of this role will be the ability to operate in a self contained manner, deploying in depth knowledge of all Project Service disciplines as required, this including Contract Administration, Cost Control, Management of Change, Planning, and Estimating. The successful candidate will be expected to coordinate between EPCm Tender Lead and subsequent Contract Manager, providing integral support in a Project Services role. Acting as direct liaison for Project Services Lead on the Contract Management Team, you will be expected to play a role in the transparent management of the overall Contract performance. Key tasks: Provide Project Services support to the Contract Manager. Coordinate Project Services for one of the new EPCm Tenders. Maintain liaison with Project Services for all Tender and Transition activities. Identify value improvement initiatives. Assist Contract Management Team in establishing robust, top-quartile KPIs enabling contract to effect a step-change to more align with company value drivers. Act as VOR focal point within CMT - ensuring the relevant project delivery streams Skills / Experience Required:- 10 or more years proven experience in project services roles of a similar nature with experience on Brownfield assets (Onshore, Offshore or both). Knowledge of the US Contractor market a definite plus. Extensive knowledge of Change Management and claims, with 5 years or more experience in managing contracts. 5 or more years experience in Tender process and Contract Management. Experience in managing high value contracts (plus, minus 1 billion USD). Knowledge of Primavera Version 6 and interfaces with external planning programs. Familiarization with SAP. Experience as Cost Control above and beyond Cost Reporting. Solid communication skills, integrity and team player.
