Engineering Superintendent Milford Haven £60,000 - £75,000 Our Client operates a liquefied natural gas receiving terminal which allows the importation and regasification of LNG - essential to the energy requirement of the UK. They are currently seeking an Engineering Superintendent to lead and manage a multi-disciplined team who will be responsible for providing the full spectrum of engineering services including asset integrity management, technical support, process surveillance and advice, project management, document control and records management. As Engineering Superintendent you will: Ensure that roles, responsibilities and accountabilities are defined, accepted and exercised. Establish clear goals and objectives and make sure performance is evaluated against these goals and objectives. Ensure risk is assessed and managed for all relevant engineering activities by identifying hazards, assessing consequences & probabilities, evaluating and implementing prevention & mitigation measures. Ensure management systems for Asset Integrity, Process Safety and Functional Safety are developed, supported and maintained. Ensure integrity of all Terminal assets and lead compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Lead in developing and maintaining policies and procedures to provide overall control and coordination. Ensure a Management of Change process is in place, supported and maintained. Initiate and provide resources for process and conceptual studies. Initiate and manage projects through all stages such as FEED, facility design, on-site construction work and start-up activities by using sound project management standards and systems. Ensure surveillance, monitoring and optimisation of process and equipment performance. Be responsible for document control and records management. Provide advice on document management issues, evaluate, suggest and implement improvements for the efficient handling, protection and disposal of records and information. Maintain an effective engineering team. Review, prepare and implement organisational changes. Suggest and prepare the operating and capital budgets. Manage expenses (OPEX/ CAPEX) within approved budgets. Ensure that project proposals are technically and financially justifiable, well prepared and approved. Prepare reports as required by the Operations Manager. Be responsible for the support of Company Safety, Environment and Quality policies. As Engineering Superintendent you'll ideally be qualified to degree or equivalent level in an engineering discipline with professional Chartered Engineer status.
