Sales Engineer - Oil and Gas Sector Location: Aberdeen. The Company: A Sales Engineer is urgently required to join a global Engineering service provider who pride themselves on their ability to provide unique service to the Oil an Gas Sector. With offices across 10 different countries they are currently growing at a rapid pace and urgently need an additional resource for the Engineering Sales Team. This vacancy is open to all technical sales engineers who have sales experience selling fluid handing products into the engineering market ideally the Oil and Gas sector but this is not essential. The Role: As the Sales Engineer you will have the following duties and responsibilities: • You will be responsible for managing your territory where you will spend 60% of your time farming existing business and the rest developing new business. • You will spend 4 days out on the road visiting new and existing customers and the other day spent at home carrying out preparation work, quoting and proposal writing. • The role will involve selling into the EPC companies and OEMs. • You will also get involved in marketing initiatives where you will attend trade shows and exhibitions. The ideal Sales Engineer will have the following: • Minimum HNC/ONC in mechanical engineering. • Technical Sales experience. • Technical sales experience of selling Fluid handling products • An appetite for new business in essential.
