My client works in a wide variety of renewable/sustainable energy related projects, such as wind, wave and tidal sectors, providing independent consultants offering project support services, technical expertise and broad market knowledge. Due to the continued growth in the business, we currently seek a Business Manager/Business Development professional to join the business management team. The Business Development Manager will: Develop, grow and maintain a network of clients within a sector encompassing Renewable Energy areas such as wave, tidal, wind and other technologies. Clients will include Utilities, Developers, Investors, Government Bodies and Prime Contractor organisationsIdentify and capture opportunities to deliver our order intake and profitability expectations.Support internal delivery and maintain our excellent reputation across a portfolio of projectsInfluence the development of our services towards the needs of the marketContribute to and own elements of the sector 5 year plan Suitable applicants will: Hold a relevant MEng/MSc/BEng/BSc (Hons) degree (or equivalent) and be a Chartered EngineerHave an existing set of contacts and a good reputation in the renewable energy client communityExperience of sales, capture planning and delivery in a relevant consultancy environmentBe commercially astute and capable of guiding bids and projectsBe capable of working closely with our technical teams on the planning of service development Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to sole British Citizens.
