Ensure that all project fabrication, engineering, planning and construction related activities are carried out safely, effectively and efficiently and in accordance with Company Policies and the Group Management System. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: *The safety of all yard personnel, full knowledge, and understanding and endorsement of all Lamprell HSES policies, procedures, rules, regulations and certification requirements. *Ensure availability of all subordinates for required Health, Safety, Environmental and Security (HSES) training. *Develop and implement construction HAZIDs, risk assessments, job safety analysis and safe methods of working. *Assist in major HSES related incident investigation and reporting. *Assist in the maintenance and audit of the certification process. *Establish safe working practice on the project in line with relevant legislation, standards, Company and clients requirements. *Ensure the day-to-day running of the project is functioning in accordance with the LGMS and project priorities and liaise with the various departments as necessary. *Liaise closely with the project managers and planning team to schedule and execute all works related to the project. *Liaise with the key client representatives to ensure all Company's obligations are met under the contract. *Establish continuity of information from Engineering to Production to enable a smooth flow of work throughout the project. *Ensure resources (manpower and equipment) are appropriate to the delegated tasks issued and closely monitor and control progress and productivity to ensure project targets are being met. Take steps to correct overruns as required. *Manage the co-ordination of Company project work force, subcontractors and hired labour. *Monitor and control consumable and equipment costs and address overruns. *Chair internal daily and weekly meetings as necessary.
