My Client are looking to hire a college leaver with either a HNC, HND or other similar qualification in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering or design engineering to fill a Trainee draughtsperson position at their factory which is based in the Midlands, with good access to the surrounding countryside. The successful candidate will have been trained as part of their qualification to use CAD/CAM software (preferably RADAN or Unigraphics) and they will have a good understanding of product or tooling design and improvement within a heavy duty vehicle manufacturing environment. Any hands on experience of Agricultural Machinery, Plant Machinery, Car or Motorbike fitting/designing would be advantageous as would any direct hands on welding or machining experience. This role would suit a recent College graduate with a flair for engineering who are looking to advance their career with a leading company.
