ATA Recruitment is looking to identify a Technical / Commercial Medium and High Voltage Internal Sales Engineer for a leading manufacturer of Electrical Voltage products based in the Midlands. Our client has been established for well over 60 years with a sizable factory and workforce located in the heart of the midlands.

Due to an increase in business they are now looking to recruit an experienced Medium and High Voltage Internal Sales / Applications engineer to join a well established team of engineers. My client can offer long term job security and satisfaction, and the opportunity to work for the UK's leading manufacturer of Medium and High Voltage products.


Key Responsibilities:

The role of the MV & HV Internal Sales Engineer will be as follows:

1. Office based 95% of your time will be responding to incoming enquiries
2. Interpreting and understanding customer requirements
3. Presales - responding to incoming technical sales enquiries
4. Preparing engineered designs and quotes
5. Preparing tender documentation and following up on tenders and quotes
6. Performing electrical calculations, estimating, purchasing and engineering
7. Handling up to 12 enquires at any one time
8. Technical support and backup to both UK & International customers
9. Occasional UK & international customer visits
10. Liaising very heavily with you own internal contract and engineering teams to ensure the customer criteria has been met
11. Prospecting for new business and customers


Experience and background:

1. A proven track record in Medium or High Voltage products such as:- Isolators, Bushing, Switch Gear, Circuit Breakers, Resistors, Enclosures, Transformers or any other Medium or High Voltage products
2. My client is able to consider candidates who have been successful in the following types of roles:- Sales, Applications, Projects, Tendering, Internal Engineering, Bid Engineer, Contracts, Internal Sales or Field Sales
3. You must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and located within the East Midlands or Warwickshire

Salary:

Up to £28,000 basic salary based on experience, bonus, pension, 25 day holiday + stat
