Main Purpose of the Role
As a Mechanical Design Draughtsman your job role will be within a dynamic design team who provide technical support to the after sales department, working on existing products. The equipment you will be working with would be hydraulic, mechanical, structural and computer based components for a market leading special purpose machinery manufacturer.
The Person
You should be flexible and dynamic in your approach, and bring energy and drive to your work. Key requirements are;
• Mechanically qualified
• Solidworks
• Previous design/draughting for manufacture experience
• Problem solver
• Understanding of tolerances
Key Responsibilities
• Problem solving & modification relating to existing products
• Modelling of complex parts and assemblies
• Production of detailed drawings and assembly drawings in Solidworks
• Some calculations
