Senior Procurement Manager - Birmingham

Heading up the supply chain for a main contractor based in the West Midlands

Salary
£55,000 basic + Car + Package

Location
Based in Birmingham but travel will be required for Sub contractor meetings

Role Description
This position is to head up the supply chain team to arrange new agreements across all elements of a projects including Plant, Materials and Subcontractors. The ideal candidate needs to be thinking of how to constantly improve the supply process from the initial agreement, looking at both cost and quality. All the way down the chain to UK wide coverage and time scales involved to allow the project to be delivered on time and to budget.
Previous construction or Civil Engineering experience is needed from a Senior Buy or Procurement manager background. This is vital for the knowledge of managing both a procurement team and handling suppliers from with in these industries.

Required Experience
Senior Buyer / Procurement background with in the Construction / Civil Engineering sector with qualifications with in Procurement to support your experience.
