Quality Engineer

Quality Engineers required by a global leader in the design, manufacture and development of engine componentry for the automotive industry. At the forefront of innovative technology this role will play an integral part in all areas of Quality Engineering within the business..

Package: £24,000 - £30,000 Basic Salary (dependant on experience) +, 25 Days Holiday, Relocation Assistance (where appropriate), Contributory Pension Scheme, Performance Related Pay Rewards, Full Training and Development Plan, including Professional Qualifications.

Location: Gloucestershire, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Stroud, Stonehouse, Bristol, Cirencester, Ross-on-Wye, Newport.

The Role: As a Quality Engineer, you will oversee the application and provision of Quality related tools, disciplines and activities, participating in teams and working with Customers on current and new products.

You will also act as a representative for end Customer on all Quality matters. You will be interfacing with the Customer on all Quality related issues. You will also have to manage the application of the APQP process to new product / process introduction.

Another part of your role will be to support the business audit programme, including supporting external assessments.


The Candidate:

- Quality Engineering background
- Automotive or related industry experience (Precision Engineering, related Manufacturing or Automotive)
- Understanding of practices such as APQP, FMEA, SPC etc
- Technical or customer quality background
- HNC qualified in Mechanical/Production Engineering
