Social Impact Assessment Senior Expert
Tasks Representing the Investor and safeguarding the investors interests in the development and implementation process of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) according requirements of International Financing Institution (IFI) and specific sector requirementsSupervising and managing Contractors responsible for the development of the ESIAInteraction with International Financing Institutions (IFI), including i.a. technical meetings and accompanying due diligence activities of the IFI’sEnsuring compliance of Social Impact Assessment (SIA) documents to corporate standards and IFI regulationsReview/approve all SIA documents issued by ContractorsManaging the Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP) and related ActivitiesDeveloping of a Community Investment Plan (CIP) and monitoring its implementationCoordination of the individual in-country activities related to Stakeholder Engagement and CommunityLiaison and assurance to of compliance against corporate standards and IFI requirements.Managing and actively contributing the development of Social Action and Management Plans and implementation of these plansPermanent monitoring/reporting on related activities performed by the client and ContractorsReporting and briefing to the management
Requirements Degree in environmental engineeringAt least 5 years intensive experience in Social Impact Assessment(s) in gas and/or oil industryExperience and knowledge on European EIA legislation and conventionsExperience and knowledge on IFI’s Environmental & Social requirements (eg. Equator Principles, IFCPerformance Standards, EBRD Performance Requirements, etc.)Fluent spoken and written EnglishEntirely self-sufficiency in the area of the dedicated personal technical responsibilitiesDistinct communication skills, proved abilities to work in multidisciplinary teams in dynamic mode, and tense time-framePro-active team player with distinct organization skillsGood IT command (MS Office)Familiar with working in truly international and multicultural environment
