Wood Group has recently secured a five year contract by Nexen at a value of $150M. This contract is an extension of the original contract from 2010 and means Wood Group will continue to deliver the planning, maintenance and operations for Nexen's North Sea offshore projects includeing the Buzzard Scott and Golden Eagle platforms.
As a result of the new contract nearly 200 jobs will be retained.

This new contract announcement comes after Wood Group recently announced a two year contract with TAQA and an extension to continue to support Chevron Upstream Europe across the North Sea.
